What is a Silhouette Soft threadlift?
Thread lifting is a minimally-invasive procedure that works to support sagging tissue – a common sign of ageing.
It is ideal for reducing sagging on the neck, lower jaw line and cheeks and for lifting eyebrows, and is best suited for men and women who are aged between 40 and 70.
Silhouette Soft clear threads are made of polylactic acid, a material approved by MHRA in the UK and the FDA in the USA.
The threads are absorbed by the skin tissue and help to stimulate the growth of collagen.
The thread lift procedure is fairly quick and has few if any side effects – that makes it easy to fit into your lunch break and allows you to carry on with the rest of your day!

The threadlift procedure
While you are under local aesthetic, we carefully insert the Silhouette Soft threads under your skin using a very fine needle.
We then elevate the sagging areas of skin and gently reshape the tissue by hand.
The whole process only takes an hour and, since it doesn’t require any incision in your skin and you don’t need a general aesthetic, you’re then good to go.
Post-procedure recovery time and side effects
While the recovery period is minimal, it is normal to experience slight bruising and swelling after your treatment.
We recommend that you do not undergo dental surgery straight after treatment. Also, for the first two weeks after treatment, we advise you to avoid excessive exercise and, when you sleep, we recommend you sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated.
For a few weeks following the procedure, you should be careful in looking after your skin and we strongly advise against any other beauty treatments in this time.
While these are minor inconveniences, there is no reason a Silhouette Soft thread lift should take any time out of work or your daily life.
