We are thrilled to announce that we are finalists in two categories of the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards:
- Aesthetic Doctor of The Year Award 2019: Dr Charlotte Woodward & Dr Victoria Manning Partnership
- The Triumph and Transformation Diamond Award for Best Patient Journey
We are passionate about what we do and this exciting recognition of our work as leading aesthetics doctors working in partnership is the icing on the cake.
We are also particularly excited to have be short listed for one of our most satisfying and moving case studies – the treatment of a woman who had experienced an acoustic neuroma and who had suffered from facial asymmetry as a result.
Two heads are better than one
Entering this year’s Aesthetic Doctor of the Year category, in combination rather than individually, highlights the unique benefit of our shared medical aesthetic pairing. Together we have over 30 years of combined aesthetic experience and an inimitable level of expertise, care and safety.
Our clinical experience spans general medicine – we both trained and worked as GPs – and aesthetics, and we draw fully on our individual and combined strengths. A shared passion for scientific innovations and fast-moving trends drew us towards medical aesthetics, where we combine clinical skills with artistic flair. But we also have skill sets which complement one another. We create joint treatment plans for complex cases together, and have a structured meeting to work through these on regular basis, taking time to support and learn from each another’s cases. From a business perspective we are a perfect example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts as our unique, and different strengths are fully leveraged.
Exciting recognition
According to the organisers The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards are the only awards which draw together the aesthetic, beauty and spa industries to recognise and reward the hard working dedication which brands, companies and healthcare professionals commit to undertaking to ensure the consumer undergoes a safer, more transparent and well informed experience.
For five years the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards have attracted entries from brave, innovative, and dedicated brands and inspiring professionals who stand head and shoulders above because of their outstanding work and professional ethos.
The awards are the proving ground and a nationally recognised benchmark to show that the business, brand or healthcare professional has undertaken an immensely serious and proactive approach to high standards and good practice. The awards reward the rigorous commitment to a belief in the solid pillars of safety, excellence and dedication. They also recognise and demonstrate their excellent work has been measured and rewarded.
Glittering finals
The finals take place on Sunday 6th July at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, Mayfair London, and we will of course keep you posted if we are lucky enough to win either of the awards… or both….! The event is sure to be glittering – it’s not called the Diamond Awards for nothing, so we are planning some serious preparations to ensure we both look the part for the awards!
