The Skin Revitalisation treatment is an advanced skin treatment which uses a patient’s own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth, helping to improve skin complexion and texture.
This exciting treatment helps to improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles and stretch marks, rejuvenate the under-eye area, reduce the size of open pores, plumps and volumizes skin, giving you a fresher and more youthful appearance.
The therapy works on the basis that the body’s own natural healing powers can slow and even reverse the ageing process, by placing growth factors (special proteins that help to heal injured tissue or damaged skin) in the exact location where we want the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself. It involves harvesting platelets from the patient’s own blood in order to inject them into problem skin areas.

The plasma is then injected into the chosen area, where it works to plump the skin and reduce fine lines & wrinkles. This process stimulates other cells surrounding the injection site, causing them to increase in volume and produce collagen.

This treatment takes around 60 minutes.
There may be slight redness and swelling straight after treatment but will not last more than 24 hours.

At River Aesthetics we recommend 3 treatments, 1 month apart, to achieve the optimum results. With any further treatments to take place 6 months later at the earliest.
