The VISIA® Skin Analysis System allows for an in-depth analysis of your individual facial characteristics, making it possible to customise your skin care program for your complexion, as well as to monitor and optimise these programs over time.

Your skin treatment journey with River Aesthetics starts with your skin consultation. At your consultation we will conduct a thorough skin analysis using the VISIA Skin Analysis System. Following your skin consultation we will recommend the best skin treatment programs for you.

 

How VISIA Skin Analysis works

IntelliFlash®, cross-polarized and UV lighting are used to record and measure surface and subsurface skin conditions. UV photography provides the most complete data set available for sun damage assessment and analysis, including UV fluorescence imaging to reveal porphyrins.

This noninvasive thermal imaging can instantly identify the overall condition of your skin, giving you the opportunity to detect and tackle some skin aging symptoms before they become aparent.

Skin Ageing Simulation

The VISIA Skin Analysis System includes a simulated ageing process to show your face and skin 5 – 7 years olders or 5 – 7 years younger for spots, wrinkles or both. VISIA also provides high resolution images for sun damage assessment analysis.

The VISIA Skin Analysis evaluates your skin based on the presence of:

  • Sun damage just below the skin surface
  • Wrinkles
  • Visible spots
  • Enlarged pores
  • Pigmentation or discolouration under the skin
  • Uneven skin texture (raises or depressions in the skin)
  • Areas of possible spider veins
  • Signs of bacteria within pores, which can lead to acne and skin blemishes

What skin conditions can you detect?

We can identify underlying pigmentation, whether from sun damage, hormonal or genetic. Conditions like Rosacea, Thread Veins, Couperose, Diffused Redness and inflammation can also be diagnosed.

How long does a VISIA Skin Analysis appointment take?

A skin consultation will last around 30 minutes and involves a detailed examination of your skin concerns.
