We also have a lot of patients come to us not just for cosmetic reasons but also for us to help them with medical conditions. Botox can be used to treat migraines and chronic headaches. We also use Botox™ to help reduce excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), especially in the underarms, hands and forehead. Botox™ can also be very helpful in treating excessive activity in the neck muscle (platysma), which can result in neck bands and lines (sometimes known as a ‘turkey neck’). Some patients immediately after treatment may notice small bumps and redness (like mosquito bites) in the treated area. These disappear very quickly, usually by the time you leave the clinic.

You will start seeing results 5 days after treatment, optimum results are 2 weeks post treatment.

For most patients, the results of the treatment last between 3 and 4 months depending on age and muscle activity. For younger patients who have ‘baby botox’ with us or those who have regular wrinkle-relaxing injections, we often see results lasting up to 6 months.
