The Treatment Process
Every patient is given a bespoke treatment plan tailored to their needs by our expert aestheticians, providing a clinical recommendation on the areas that can be treated. Before the treatment begins, the appropriate applicator will be selected, with 5 different attachments available for use.
They include:
- The Advantage+ (designed to work on big, bulky problem areas like the flanks, abdomen, and thigh)
- Advantage (versatile enough for large areas, and small enough for spot treatments on areas such as the flanks, abdomen, thigh, and upper arm)
- Smooth flat head (perfect for areas with non-pinchable fat including the upper abdomen and side of thighs)
- Petit (meant for smaller more detailed work on areas including flanks, abdomen, thigh, upper arm)
- Mini (specially design to treat very small areas including the chin, front of the arm pit, knee)
Once the area(s) have been selected, we will position the device on your body and apply a gel pad and applicator. The controlled cooling process begins by igniting the vacuum applicators, which draw fatty tissue into the applicator cup. During this, you may feel slight pulling and mild pinching, but you will remain comfortable throughout.
The Science Behind CoolSculpting
This innovative body sculpting treatment targets stubborn fat cells that are difficult to shift despite having a healthy diet and undertaking regular exercise. When a person loses, or gains weight, the number of fat cells are not altered but rather they either decrease or increase in size, but by undergoing CoolSculpting® treatment patients can remove these fat cells for good! What is Coolsculpting®?
CoolSculpting® is a fat freezing device which is the only FDA approved non- surgical fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn pockets of fatty tissue. Clinical studies have shown that the treatment reduces the number of fat cells by up to 27% after 6 months.
Does Coolsculpting® treat all types of fat?
No. CoolSculpting® is only used to treat soft subcutaneous fat. We cannot treat hard visceral fat. If you can squeeze it, we can freeze it!
When will I see my results?
Results will be visible 6 weeks post-treatment, with optimum results at 12 weeks due to the body continuing to flush out fat cells.
For optimum results, at least 2 cycles will be required.
Is CoolSculpting® permanent?
Yes. On average you get a 25-30% reduction.
What areas of the body can coolsculpting treat?
Stomach, back, bra fat, chins, arms, inner thigh and flanks.
How long does the treatment take?
A treatment takes only 35-45 minutes to be completed dependent on the head used. However, multiple applicators may be required in a treatment session to get desired result.
Is Coolsculpt a weight loss treatment?
